Qatar expanded its long-term gas supply to Europe, reaching a supply deal with Shell to provide 3.5 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas a year for 27 years, Reuters reported.

If you add up the years, it extends right up to mid-century. An identical deal with France's Total Energies was signed last week.
