The Biden administration announced it was lifting the tariff exemption on double-sided solar panels and would carefully scrutinize solar panel imports to make sure they weren't coming from China.

Following on the heels of expanded tariffs on Chinese made goods, Biden's actions are designed to protect the U.S. solar industry from "unfair and non-market practices taking place overseas."
