Toyota hybrid.

Toyota, long pilloried as a laggard in the electric car race, has regained its moxie as its hybrid vehicles turn out to be a hit in the U.S., The New York Times reports.

Hybrid vehicles are likely a necessary middle-step for the U.S. car market as it moves inexorably away from traditional engines. I see this as a glass-half-full story.
