Southern, mostly Republican, states are getting a boost from battery and EV plants being built with support from Democratic president Joe Biden’s climate subsidies, The Wall Street Journal reports.

It will be interesting to see whether this good news for Republican regions translates into support for the source — Biden’s renewable energy-boosting laws, which Republicans vow to undo.
