The Biden administration is racing against the election clock to finalize climate rules on everything from power plants to appliances Americans use, Bloomberg reports.

Any climate initiatives that aren't finalized by Jan. 20, 2025 are "toast" because a Republican-controlled Congress and White House can and have undone Democratic initiatives in the past.
