Canary Media reports America's first big utility-scale offshore wind project, known as South Fork Wind, is open for business off the coast of Long Island in New York.

South Fork's opening represents a "rare bright spot" for a sector, and especially Danish firm Ørsted, that has been beset with financial hardships and supply chain challenges. Time for a road trip!
