Manufacturing boost.

The U.S. Treasury proposed advanced manufacturing tax credit (known as 45X) guidelines for producing solar, wind and battery parts and related "critical" minerals like lithium, cobalt and graphite.

The guidelines make it clear companies will receive credit for making the entire part like a wind tower or a solar cell, not its various parts. Credit also will not be given for assembling parts.
