Paris 2024 may be the greenest Olympics ever, harnessing renewables and low-carbon vehicles, using existing facilities and relying on low-carbon concrete for new buildings, Reuters reports.

The organizers, alas, have no control over the carbon footprint of thousands of spectators traveling to the games. It's kind of similar to the UN climate summits attended by thousands, too.
