A coalition of unions and civic groups launch a campaign to pressure Hyundai and its suppliers to create union jobs at its electric vehicle plants in Georgia, The New York Times reports.

The campaign's timing, location and choice of Hyundai as opposed to Mercedes Benz and BMW, which also have plants in the South, is odd given that all three will benefit from the generous tax credits.
