Scientists ponder the construction of a massive wall around a melting glacier, among other ‘geoengineering’ projects to combat the impacts of climate change, The New York Times reports.

Geoengineering, the ways the earth and its atmosphere could be manipulated to try to thwart the progress of climate change and its fallout, is increasingly gaining acceptance among policymakers.
