A fund announced at COP28 in Dubai by the host country ostensibly aimed at investing in clean energy has invested in natural gas, Climate Home News reports.

Much of the oil and gas industry considers natural gas (which burns far less CO2 than coal) a climate solution, but long-term, dependence on the fuel isn’t compatible with aggressive climate targets.
