World Bank Chief Ajay Banga wants to keep his institution's focus on tackling global climate problems, not prodding the U.S. and others to reduce fossil fuel spending, POLITICO Pro reports.

Mr. Banga made it clear his job is to use the Bank's funds to assist emerging and developing countries that are looking for a low-emissions pathway to grow their economies.
