Disclosing risk.

U.S. publicly traded companies for the first time will have to disclose climate risk from emissions released by their business activities and the energy they use, but not from their supply chains.

Having a rule is better than no rule. That said, a weaker federal rule than those contemplated by California or Europe could be problematic for U.S. companies, which could push back.
