Demonstrators marched through the United Nations controlled zone at COP28, protesting not only climate issues but also host UAE’s human rights record, Reuters reported.

Small demonstrations have taken place daily with permission of the UN, but today’s was by far the largest. A protest in the UAE against government policies is virtually unprecedented.
