Europe is not prepared for the rapidly growing climate risks it faces, scientists at the European Environment Agency warned in their first risk assessment, The Guardian reported.

Not the most cheerful reading, but sobering and key ahead of the EU elections. Getting the EU ready for the inevitable warming will require vast investments and lifestyle changes, the report notes.
